  • Bright Futures Child Care Information System

BFIS is a data system that supports the work of many different people who care for children in Vermont. Families can use it to find child care, apply for financial assistance, report a concern about a child care program, or look at details of their current child care program. Potential child care programs can use BFIS to apply to be a regulated program or find trainings about becoming a child care program. Currently licensed and registered child care programs can use BFIS to submit annual reapplication, bill for child care financial assistance, report incidents, apply for a variance from regulations, update marketing information, and much more.
