    BAART Programs, a brand of BayMark Health Services, is a multi-site, multi-service organization providing opioid use disorder treatment and rehabilitation for patients across the country. Providing high-quality, patient-centered treatment for addiction to prescription medications and other opioids remains the focus of BAART Programs’ 26 clinics. Combining evidence-based, medication-assisted treatment with counseling and behavioral services, BAART offers the most successful option for many patients. In addition, BAART provides integrated primary medical care and mental health services through their network of locations across 6 states.
    BAART St. Johnsbury is a methadone and buprenorphine maintenance program that provides quality, individualized and comprehensive treatment to opioid dependent individuals. BAART incorporates a harm reduction model, pharmacotherapy and clinic specific interventions that include motivational interviewing and substance abuse counseling. We are committed to expanding treatment access to individuals across Vermont in need of substance abuse treatment services.

  • CIS/Part C Early Intervention (EI)

    Individuals with Disabilities Act (IDEA): Part C – Early Intervention program for infants and toddlers provides a broad array of services to children with special needs, birth through three years of age, and their families. Families who are eligible for services through the IDEA – Part C early intervention services include children ages birth to three years old who are experiencing developmental delays or who have a diagnosed condition that has a high probability of resulting in a developmental delay. By assisting in the coordination of locally available services, Children’s Integrated Services is working to ensure that Vermont’s young children and their families have access to the widest possible array of early intervention services.

    The Community Health Workers of Community Connections will take the time to talk with you to determine which social and community services you need, and then help connect you to the right people at the right services. The Community Health Workers are uniquely familiar with the many agencies, organizations, and individuals in the area. They know who to call to get you an appointment, health information, legal services, medical transportation assistance, or a place to live.

    The NVRH Diabetes Self-Management Services provides support, tools, and education for accomplishing your personal health goals. The NVRH Diabetes Self-Management Services are located on the third floor of the hospital.

    NVRH is a community, not for profit, acute care, critical access hospital. It is one of two Vermont hospitals designated as a Baby FriendlyTM hospital by the United Nations.     The Office of Local Health in St. Johnsbury offers a wide variety of public health services to our local area.  Programs include the Women, Infant, and Children (WIC) nutritional program for prenatal through age 5 as well as immunization information, infection control, breastfeeding support, and Safe Sleep programs.  Our services serve the Lyndon area as well as all of Caledonia County and southern Essex.
