  • NEKCA – Parent Child Center South “Lincoln Center”

    NEKCA’s two Parent Child Centers are part of the Vermont network of 15 Parent Child Centers that help families make sure children get off to a healthy start. Services include almost anything that families need: early childhood services, home visits to families with young children, playgroups, parent education, parent support, and information and referral.

    Northeast Kingdom Community Action (NEKCA) is an anti-poverty agency. Believing in each individual’s potential for positive growth and change, NEKCA is committed to empowering those who seek assistance to improve the quality of their lives. We provide direct program activities, referrals, advocacy and education in a non-judgmental manner to the people of the communities in the Northeast Kingdom.
    Programs and services include Community & Justice Programs, Food Assistance, Fuel and Utility Assistance, Grow Your Own Business, Head Start Child Care, Housing Assistance & Housing, Parent Child Centers, Thrift Store, and Youth & Young Adults.

  • Reach Up Program

    Reach Up helps eligible parents to gain job skills and find work so they can support their minor, dependent children. Reach First does the same for parents who will likely no longer need help in four months (or less). Benefits include services that support work, case management to help you reach your goals, and monthly cash payments to help you pay for basic necessities like food, clothing, housing and utilities.

  • Umbrella

    Umbrella’s mission is nurturing communities of strong women, supported families and safe homes. Umbrella’s primary priorities are to decrease the incidence and impact of domestic and sexual violence and to ensure that children thrive in safe communities and families attentive to their needs. Services and programs within Umbrella include the Advocacy Program, Kingdom Child Care Connection, the Family Room, and Cornucopia.
