Never heard of All Things Lyndon but curious about what this new community initiative is? Maybe you’ve seen a flyer or even been to one of our events but still don’t know what it’s all about? Well you’ve come to the right place to learn more!
All Things Lyndon is a community initiative with the key goal of strengthening Lyndon families by providing opportunities to ensure all children are ready to enter school and be a part of their community. To help families in Lyndon thrive, we aim to provide opportunities for families to feel connected, supported and empowered in their community.
How do we go about achieving all of that? Our core strategies include the following: creating social connections through fun events for local families, establishing a Family Fund that provides financial assistance and scholarships for Lyndon families, offering the Lyndon Parents Lead parent leadership program, and developing this website where community members can find information on local events and resources.
All Things Lyndon, a component of the Lyndon Promise Community, is supported by funding Vermont received through the Race to the Top Early Learning Challenge federal grant. Our primary focus is serving families with children six or under but believe our efforts can have positive impacts for the entire community.
We are beyond excited to have our website officially launched and have yet another opportunity to connect with the Lyndon community. Come back often to find out about upcoming events and local resources!
